‘Mini-Tet’ was an expression coined by British photojournalist Tim Page in 1968. It refers to the second phase of the larger widely reported Tet offensive, and it happened in the 8th arrondissement of Saigon, in Cholon, Chinatown, near Y-bridge.

It clearly identifies to a specific place and time but taken out of context is meaningless, an obscure line in a book, but the influences are drawn from a wider palette.

Mini-Tet’s irreverent approach to menswear within the boundaries of good proportion and style create a pared down aesthetic informed by oft archaic military details, collected vintage, sub-culture, whimsy and word play.
